Jyo Supnekar, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, C/NDT

Jyo is a Clinical Specialist and has worked at Johns Hopkins for over 10 years. She completed her Masters in OT from the University of Bombay in 1986. She has multi-specialty certifications including Certification in Hand Therapy in 1998, C/NDT for adult hemiplegia in 1993, Lymphedema Certification in 2003 and the Drexel Advanced study in Hand & Upper Quarter Rehabilitation Certificate Program in 2016. She developed the curriculum and started the AOTA accredited Johns Hopkins Hand Therapy Fellowship in 2017. She is on the Fellowship Programs Reviewer Committee for AOTA, and the Director of the Hand Therapy Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. She has presented posters at the clinical showcase at Johns Hopkins as well as at the ASHT annual conference and presented internationally at the All India Institute of PM& R in India as well as to local organizations. She has provided clinical instruction to the Orthopedic PT and the PM&R Residency program at Johns Hopkins.Jyo believes in lifelong learning, enjoys travel and outdoor activities. She is married, has a son and daughter- in- law who live in California.
