This year's meeting offers a number of events for you to get involved and have fun outside of sessions. Whether you are interested in participating in a Fun Run or the ASHT Night Out, there is something for you! 

Opening Reception

Come meet the exhibitors, chat and chew with your friends and colleagues and enjoy the Opening Reception of the ASHT 2022 Annual Meeting.  You can also view ePoster presentations at the kiosks. (Details are available in the ePoster kit included in your registration totebag.)

Fun Run

Saturday, October 15
6:00 - 7:00 AM ET
with Rachel Pigott, MPH, BSOT

Do you enjoy running? Looking to get some fresh air? Come run with your ASHT friends during the Fun Run, led by Immediate Past President Rachel Pigott. We will run the Washington Hilton 5-mile stretch (see run map). Please note: ASHT will not be held responsible for any damages, injuries or losses that occur during this event.

ASHT Night Out

Saturday, October 15
7:30 - 9:30 PM ET

Enjoy ASHT’s Night Out by visiting local restaurants and show your attendee badge to get food and beverage discounts! A list of the participating restaurants will be in your registration totebag; additional copies will be available at the registration desk. Those who pre-registered for the Monuments by Moonlight Tour will spend the evening touring in our nation's capital to see the monuments lit at night. Buses for the tour will begin boarding at 7 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. departure.

Share the gLOVEs

This year, ASHT is partnering with ThriveDC for our Share the gLOVEs drive. Please consider donating a pair of winter gloves, for men or women, preferably larger sized, at the registration desk by Saturday, October 15. The representatives from ThriveDC will be onsite Saturday to accept our donation along with your contributions. Thank you for your support and generosity!
