Michele graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1990 with a BS in Occupational Therapy. After practicing in various settings for 10 years, she elected to specialize in hand therapy and received her CHT in 2008. In 2021, she received her post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy. Her capstone project focused on the psychosocial aspects of upper extremity injury.
