Roger Cornwall, MD
Dr. Cornwall is a full time pediatric hand and upper extremity surgeon who founded the Hand and Upper Extremity Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. His clinical interests and expertise include pediatric hand and upper limb trauma, brachial plexus birth injury, congenital hand differences, and patient-reported outcomes measurement. He also runs a basic science laboratory investigating the neurological control of postnatal muscle growth, aiming to develop novel physiological treatments for neuromuscular contractures. He completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University, medical school at Columbia, orthopaedic residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, hand fellowship at Harvard, and pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has five sons, including two sets of twins, and he enjoys mountaineering, gymnastics, and writing heavy metal music.
