Sarah Doerrer, PhD, OTR/L, CHT, CLT

Sarah Doerrer PhD, OTR/L, CHT, CLT is an assistant professor in the entry level OTD program at George Washington University. Sarah earned her PhD in the Philosophy of Occupational Therapy in 2019 from Nova Southeastern University and her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2001 from Misericordia University. She became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2008 and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) in 2005. Sarah is on the research board for the American Hand Therapist Association and is the chair of the ASHT journal club. Sarah has published outcomes research in the Journal of Hand Therapy on the impact of shoulder pathology for individuals with distal radius fracture.
