Raquel Cantero Tellez, PhD, OT, PT

After earning my PT degree in University of Málaga (Spain) in 1997, I entered the “Centro Studi mano” in Italy at 2000 after obtain a scholarship to explore my passion for hand therapy. With more than 20 years experience in evaluation, treatment and splinting of upper limb injuries and conditions affecting the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand, nowadays, I'm an active member of the hand therapy community with more than 40 scientific publications in scientific journals and numerous contributions to international conferences.

Founder and past-president of the Spanish Association for Hand Therapy, I have actively contributed to the development of hand therapy in my country at the same time that I have collaborated with the IFSHT as Member of scientific committee, Social Media Ad Hoc Committee (2016-19) and Educational committee (2019-22).
Today I spread hand therapy through social networks and as a teacher at the University of Málaga (Spain).
